Pianist Anli Lin Tong is a world-renowned concerto soloist and chamber musician, performing in Europe, Asia and the United States. Anli holds a B.M. and an M.M. from the Juilliard School in New York and a D.M.A. from UCLA. She is the published author of two journal articles in The California Music Teacher.
Anli first performed “‘Bells of Nagasaki’: Music for Comtemplation” on August 3, 2025. The program celebrates the installation of a new bell in the northern tower of the Urakami Cathedral in Nagasaki. Previously, the tower had sat empty since the Cathedral’s destruction on August 9, 1945, when the Fat Man atomic bomb was dropped on Nagasaki.
